“Are We Future Ready?” Alumni networking dinner & AGM

Are we future ready? Such is the concern of many, as advancements are inevitable in the ever-changing, ever-improving environment we live in. Thus, this relevant question we ask ourselves daily was the point of discussion in our recent networking dinner and Annual General Meeting (AGM). This was held on the 28th of March at the OTC Cafe in the National Library.

Guests were refreshed with a light dinner and drinks before getting to meet fellow alumni, senior Curtin representatives and Professor Seth Kunin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor International and Professor Robert Evans, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Curtin Singapore.

In this non-election year, a lively discussion was held regarding being future ready, with Professor Seth Kunin and a panel of alumni representatives from different fields of employment and expertise, such as Sean O’ Hara. We hope that those who have attended this AGM were rejuvenated and given a fresh perspective on what the future brings for every individual, and how we can be ready for it.

Notably, we bid farewell to Professor Evans, who will be returning to Perth this month after many memorable years at Curtin Singapore. We are thankful for his impactful presence in Curtin Singapore and wish him all the best in his future endeavors!
